BC Lotto Max Winner Had to Finish Work and Act Normal After Winning

A Lotto Max winner from Abbotsford, British Columbia, found out he had won $1 million while at work. He had to keep his cool until the end of the workday.

Shaun Hill was having a normal day at work on September 13, 2022, when he found out he had won a lot of money in the Lotto Max draw. He said he checked his ticket twice to make sure it was real.

Hill bought the winning ticket at the Langley Husky gas station on 216 Street. The man from Abbotsford scanned his ticket into the Lotto! app while he was at work and said he couldn’t believe he had won.

I thought, “Wow!” and looked at it again to try to understand it. “I had to keep working as if nothing had happened,” he said.
But Hill is now getting used to the fact that he won, and he plans to use his money to buy a new house and a car. He also wants to go to Hawaii and play golf there.

Hill said that he was “surprised” and “delighted” by his big win.

“It will make me feel better for a while. I won’t forget this victory, “Hill added.

Last month, another Lotto Max winner in British Columbia was so stunned by the news that he didn’t know who to call first. He did tell his wife, though, and hopes to use the money to take a trip to Europe.
